Just before the holidays I was so happy to have this gorgeous family in front of my camera lens. They had recently moved to the north bay and contacted me for a local outdoor photo session. I think they had lots of great pictures to use for they holiday cards this year and it made it special that they were photographed in their new neighborhood. We captured some beautiful moments in the setting sun. Of course, we also had to get at least one photo of everyone wearing their masks because this part of life right now. This little girl was so smart and gifted with a wonderful imagination. She likes to create stories and play games. Her favorite stuffy was an owl and just in case she lost owl, mom and dad had obtained 3 of them and they all came to the shoot! We made sure to get sm solo shots of owl too. So cute!
This family has had their photos taken by a professional photographer every year so they value photography and I’m thrilled we had such nice weather and yummy light during our session. This open space location in Novato, highlighted the still golden hills (we have not had nearly enough rain yet to turn the hills green) and the majestic oak trees. The north bay really has gorgeous locations and in Novato we are lucky to have hiking trails right in our neighborhood. This family discovered a new walking/hiking location and I hope to see them on the trails in the future!
